GenOPT:Correlations in identified parameters

I use GenOPt to indentify parameters, with the simulation model presen tin Dymola.I am identifying 9 parameters together. Correlations inbetween the parameters exist which are affecting the results.Is there a way to reduce the effect the correlations has on the identified parameter.
