How do I represent a window that can be opened in OSM?

At the moment I am trying to create an OSM file with high level inputs using open studio SDK. It pretty clear from the documentation that SubSurfaces represent a window. However, Am not able to set it up as a window that can be opened. Any ideas on how to go about achieving it would be much appreciate.
