As I said in the title, I don't know how to transform or convert an already existing SketchUp drawing into an Openstudio model. It seems impossible that, if I haven't started by drawing my model in a new OpenStudio space, it will not be later possible to (at least) "convert" the already existing SketchUp drawing into an OpenStudio model. Any suggestions? I'm a beginner at using OpenStudio and I drew my model without creating a new OpenStudio model. I drew my model using SketchUp as if there is no OpenStudio plug-in, so creating just a SketchUp model. Now I'd like to assign all kinds of surfaces (and subsurfaces) and the only way I found out so far to do that is to 1)Create a new OpenStudio space; 2)Trace everything again over the existing SketchUp drawing. Only by doing this, I managed to assign surfaces such as walls, floors, roofs and so on. The only problem is that it's really time consuming and if you don't immediately draw your model in an OpenStudio model, you'll have to re-draw it again!
