Similar to the engine feature comparison (and for the same DOE document!) I am trying to crowd source some information about time spent on different modeling tasks. I created this Google Spreadsheet for this purpose. The tasks I am interested in are:
- Creating a post-design LEED model
- Creating a design model for a new building
- Creating a calibrated model for an existing building.
To get some nuance in the data I am looking at three different building types (office, hospital, and home) and distinguishing between a conventional building (i.e., a few or no ECMs) and a high-performance building (i.e., many ECMs).
