How to simulate thermal cycles from 5°C to 40°C in an HVAC zone in OpenStudio?

I want to simulate an HVAC system in OpenStudio for a thermal simulation room in the laboratory where I work. The idea is for the system to follow this 3-hour cycle:

At time t = 0 min, the room temperature is 20°C From t = 0 min to t = 45 min, the temperature drops to 5°C From t = 45 min to t = 90 min, the temperature rises to 40°C From t = 90 min to t = 135 min, the temperature drops to 5°C From t = 135 min to t = 180 min, the temperature rises to 40°C I am using a Packaged Rooftop VAV with Reheat system and have already configured the heating and cooling thermostats as shown in the images, but the zone temperature profile does not match what I want. What could I do to achieve these temperature oscillations within the thermal zone?

I want to simulate an HVAC system in OpenStudio for a thermal simulation room in the laboratory where I work. The idea is for the system to follow this 3-hour cycle:

  • From t = 0 min to t = 45 min, the temperature drops to 5°C 5°C
  • From t = 45 min to t = 90 min, the temperature rises to 40°C 40°C
  • From t = 90 min to t = 135 min, the temperature drops to 5°C 5°C
  • From t = 135 min to t = 180 min, the temperature rises to 40°C 40°C
