How Does EnergyPlus Determine When Refrigeration Compressors Start or Stop in a Parallel System?

Hi everyone,

I'm setting up a refrigeration system in EnergyPlus, and I see that it allows you to define a list of compressors that work in parallel. My question is: how does EnergyPlus decide when each compressor in the parallel setup should start or stop functioning?

Does it use any specific control strategy or thresholds based on temperature, load, or any other conditions to activate or deactivate individual compressors? Or is there a way to customize this behavior within EnergyPlus?

Thanks in advance for any insights or advice!
