CBECC CSE Hourly Meter Result UNITS?

asked Aug 16

updated Aug 16

In CBECC 2022 when simulating any multi-family building an hourly meter file for the residential only space is produced for the electric and gas by end use. The csv file from the CSE (with CSE in the file name) engine and all the reference manuals I can find do not indicate what the units are of this data. Does anyone know if the electricity is in kWh? or in kBtu? or in Btu?

I would normally check against the final summary report CBECC produces, however the building is a combination of NR and MF spaces.

I was looking for documentation here, https://cse-sim.github.io/cse/cse-use... But it's not exactly forthcoming. I'm pretty sure it's all in MBTU, as indicated in the Gain section (under 'gnPower') "Note that meter reporting of internal gain is in MBtu (millions of Btu) by default."
