BEopt- Can I change the gable roof default in the Geometry screen?

I'm trying to model a single story residential house with a gable roof. The gable side of the house is the front. It faces the street and is the widest dimension of the house.

In the Geometry screen, the gable end of the house is assigned to the narrowest dimension. If the house is perfectly square house, BEopt assigns the gable face away from the house front. These default behaviors prevent me from accurately modeling the house.

I don't see a way to change this behavior. I've searched the forums and Google in general and can't find a workaround. It seems like it would be important to have the correct house faces oriented in the correct direction for predicting solar gain, but maybe that doesn't matter to the simulation.

Any suggestions?

It is not currently possible to change the gable direction. But solar gains on opaque surfaces, especially if the surfaces are adjacent to unconditioned space (attic) or are insulated, are not that important. In fact, most residential software tools don't even ask the user for the details of their roof/gable walls. It is far more important to get the window areas & orientations correct.
