Internal gains detailed DesignBuilder
I am using the detailed internal gains mode to enter each piece of equipment by zone to make my simulation more accurate. The problem is that once the equipment is entered, the heat gain results for the kitchen, computers, or any other equipment are not shown, but they are for equipment in the “lighting” category. I have looked in model options for anything that might be interfering, but I can’t find the reason why my equipment is not being considered. Please help, I need to know the internal gains of each room by equipment. It is worth noting that in the other internal gains modes (entering the equipment power density value by zone), the results are displayed and I get results. The problem is in the detailed mode.
To diagnose the issue accurately and provide the most effective solution, I'd need to examine the .dsb model file. Would you be able to upload it?
May I also suggest using the Early gains definition? Detailed - gains are specified by defining each individual item of equipment in each zone on the Equipment tab. Note that this option was developed for creating very detailed models of existing buildings based on survey data. Entering this data for a large building is very time-consuming and in most cases, you will be better served by the Early gains option.
