Importing a schedule, defined in an IDF file, into Design Builder

Hello I'm trying to implement a schedule for humidification and dehumidification in my Design Builder model. In Design Builder itself, I haven't found a way yet to define such a schedule. It is possible to define a schedule for heating and cooling, but not for humidification. I exported the IDF file and defined the schedule there under Schedule:Compact, where I found the heating and cooling schedule. But every time I import the IDF file back into Design Builder, the program overwrites the humidification schedule. How can I avoid this? For context, I try to recreate an experiment which was conducted inside a climate chamber. I try to keep the model as simple as possible. For that reason, I'm opting for Simple HVAC with limited humidity settings. And that is also why I don't use a HVAC template.

Related to this post. I suggest you clearly state whether you're opting for Simple HVAC (limited humidity settings) or Detailed HVAC (flexible humidity control)

In DesignBuilder schedules can be imported through DDF file format. https://designbuilder.co.uk/helpv7.3/...

The 3D model import functionality for IDF files does not support importing schedules. All about IDF import in DesignBuilder can be read at https://designbuilder.co.uk/helpv7.3/...

I don't know what type of schedule you want to define, but DesignBuilder supports a few types. I like working with compact schedules as they are the most concise. https://designbuilder.co.uk/helpv7.3/...

You will have to adjust the Model Options and use the Detailed HVAC to be able to define the variable humidity setpoints. You will then be able to define schedules at the HVAC System - HVAC Zone level. I have attached two screenshots for reference. image description image description

Thank you for your help. I know now how to create the schedule for the humidification. But it seems like this doesn't influence the simulation results at all. The RH values are exactly the same as when I run the simulation without the schedules. With the detailed HVAC settings, under HVAC, all the settings have now a green background, what is being explained by Design Builder with "Data shown with a green background is only used in Heating and/or Cooling design calculations and is NOT used in Simulations". What does this mean exactly? I'm interested exclusively in the simulation data.

@FabioFH97 There needs to be a Detailed HVAC system defined that can control the HVAC zone. I recommend starting with the Detailed HVAC Templates titled "VAV Reheat, Water-cooled Chiller, Full Humidity Control".
