How I can solve socket.cfg in energyplus FMU
Hi there,
I am trying to work with energyplus FMU for a simple simulation.
When I run the simulation, an exception severe error arises:
Severe ExternalInterface: Did not find file "socket.cfg".
~~~ This file needs to be in same directory as in.idf.
~~~ Check the documentation for the ExternalInterface.
Fatal Error in ExternalInterface: Check EnergyPlus *.err file.
I would appreciate it if you could kindly let me know how I can address the challenge

Hard to say given how little information you gave us as to how you're trying to connect the FMU. That socket.cfg is a file that has a port number in it, and it's for interfacing with the BCTVB/Ptolemy I think (and I think BCTVB creates it for you)
