Hi,

I'm currently doing a dissertation on researching thermal characteristics of a phase change material and simulating its free cooling capabilities within glazing in Designbuilder/ energyplus. I'm primarily looking at its thermal conduction and enthalpy, and I have a clear plan on modelling the former (making an EMS code to change thermal conductivity of the pane at different temperatures). However, I can't define the enthalpy curve for the phase change materials within the pane as opaque materials cannot be used in windows so I wanted to ask if there was any way around this?

Many thanks in advance.

@D if you search for "energyplus pcm window" there are multiple questions on this topic. Do any of those answer your question?
