Hello UnmetHours community,

I'm currently working with DesignBuilder software and experimenting with Phase Change Materials (PCM) using the provided example template C:\fakepath\Screenshot 2024-01-18 172130.png. My goal is to observe state changes in the material during simulations, but I am having difficulty finding the output variable that indicates these changes.

based on EnergyPlus engineering references here, it suggests using the ConductionFiniteDifference algorithm. However, when inspecting nodes corresponding to each layer of the surface, I couldn't find any indication of the material changing states.

The PCM settings in the DesignBuilder template use enthalpy-temperature pairs setting. My question is, how can I check whether the material is undergoing state changes during the simulation? Are there specific output variables or other diagnostic tools I should be utilizing?

Any guidance or insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
