How to Model Multi-Zone VRF System in OpenStudio?

Similar questions on the forum did not yield a good answer. How do I model several rooms each served by a VRF Zone Terminal, that are all fed back to a single outdoor condensing unit (can provide heating and cooling)? Each zone has its own thermostat, so the single option for "Controlling Zone or Thermostat Location" seems insufficient.

You should not combine spaces into a single thermal zone. Each space should be assigned its own thermal zone. Each VRF Zone Terminal should be assigned to one of these thermal zones. Then you can use the "Controlling Zone or Thermostat Location".
