Meter output error

I am running a IDF in EnergyPlus, when I set the meter output , there is a following error and meter sections for choosing the energy consumption and … are blanc.

..... Last severe error=<root>[Output:Meter][Output:Meter 1] - Missing required property 'key_name'.
