I used Urban Weather Generator for my weather data. Do I need to generate also the .ddy file?
Hello everyone. I have a beginner question.
I generated weather data considering the urban heat island effect using the Urban Weather Generator inside Dragonfly/Grasshopper. Then I uploaded this data to OpenStudio as the weather while. Now I need to import the design day file. However, I am not sure if I also need to generate a .ddy file in Grasshopper using the generated urban weather data, or if is it enough to import the .ddy file as it is downloaded directly from the weather files database. (The .ddy file that I downloaded with the weather data from an airport to use in Urban Weather Generator)
What I am actually trying to ask is if the Design Day files include the information for OpenStudio to process the weather file to find out the design days, or if the Design Day file itself already includes which days are the design days.
