Hello everyone, I have a quick question: Is it possible to have a HVAC Template (VAV) and a Low Radiant System in the same zone? Both access the same shedules, but I get an error for zones, where both systems work parallel.

** Severe ** ZoneControl:Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 10 THERMOSTAT" invalid Zone or ZoneList Name="THERMAL ZONE 10" zone previously assigned.
** ~~~ ** ...Zone was previously assigned to Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 10 THERMOSTATFUSBODENH.".
** Severe ** ZoneControl:Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 41 THERMOSTAT" invalid Zone or ZoneList Name="THERMAL ZONE 41" zone previously assigned.
** ~~~ ** ...Zone was previously assigned to Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 41 THERMOSTATFUSBODENH.".
** Severe ** ZoneControl:Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 29 THERMOSTAT" invalid Zone or ZoneList Name="THERMAL ZONE 29" zone previously assigned.
** ~~~ ** ...Zone was previously assigned to Thermostat="THERMAL ZONE 29 THERMOSTATFUSBODENH.".
** Severe ** GetStagedDualSetpoint: Errors with invalid names in ZoneControl:Thermostat:StagedDualSetpoint objects.
** ~~~ ** ...These will not be read in. Other errors may occur.

Thanks

@rhinozeros these errors are related to zones being assigned to multiple thermostats. Are you using an EnergyPlus interface (OpenStudio Application, DesignBuilder, etc.) to define your model, or editing the EnergyPlus input file (IDF) directly?

First, thanks for your fast answer! Im working with the energy plus editor. Both systems have their own thermostat, which leads them to the same Shedule:Compact in the last place. The VAV uses the HVAC Template Thermostat. The radiant system uses Zone Control Thermostat with Thermostat Setpoint Dual Setpoint. I deleted the termostat template in the VAV for the three problematic zones (left ist blank) and kept it for my radiant system. Still get this error:
..Duplicate Controlled Zone entered, only one ZoneHVAC:EquipmentConnections per zone is allowed.

I think the problem is the template thermostat and the "normal" thermostat which cant be linked together. I just deleted radiant systems for this three zones and work with template baseboard heat instead. Now everything is okay. But again, thanks for your fast reply!
