To optimize passive heating/cooling, I would like to understand the benefit of using high SHGC windows on the south wall which gets more light in the winter, while using low SHGC on the East/West which get more direct light in the summer. Is there any way to do this? It seems like a simple functionality that should be added if not currently included.

In the Windows category, there is an example option ("Back Windows = High-SHGC") at the bottom of the list that demonstrates how to specify different window types for different facades of the building. You can create a custom option through the Option Manager to specify your desired window properties for each facade.
