EnergyPlus Python Co-simulation

Hi, I am trying to run EnergyPlus Co-simulation in Python. Following the instruction, I can successfully change the setpoint/schedule for each step. But I don't know how to do it reversely, I want to change the cooling load entering into the space, then the space temperature will change accordingly. But when I change the supply flow rate/supply temperature, the space temperature didn't change at all. Looks like the setpoint has the highest priority in EP, no matter how I change the other part, the space temperature will finally be controlled by the setpoint. I was wondering if anyone could help me. Thank you!

What HVAC equipment is serving the zone? Some equipment can be specified with a control type of Load or Setpoint. If the equipment is controlled by load, changing the supply flow rate/setpoint temperature won't necessarily change the space temperature if the setpoint is already satisfied. But if it's setpoint-based control, changing the supply air temperature setpoint should affect zone temperature.

Wow, Thanks for your kind help! I don't know that before. I tried the idea system and fan-coil system. I don't know which is controlled by load, which is controlled by setpoint. Appreciate if you could tell me where can I find this information. Thank you
