Hi All

I have been testing a series of BSDF files created through the LBNL Window. In my investigation, I started looking at how the Heating and Cooling Load changed then I changed the version of E+. In the same study, I also looked at Blinds created through Energyplus functions, which nearly do not differ in Heating and Cooling Load, the changing versions of E+.

The IDF file (Example Attached) is created with an Ideal loads HVAC system with unlimited Heating and Cooling. I have created a Graph representing a series of IDF with different shading systems. This shows that all files with BSDF shades differ greatly in results (Line Plot). However, for the shades created through E+ Functions (BetweenBlinds), the results do not differ.

Furthermore, I have created a Graph showing that the heating load rises significantly after version 8.9.0/9.0.0 (The column plots).

I have been looking at the version logs; however, I must admit I am not experienced enough to understand why the big changes in results when calculating BSDF shades. So my main question is, can any version updates explain this? Is this only a result of the improved calculation engine in E+, or is it an error in my implementation of the BSDF shade in the IDF file?

Thanks for your help, and please write if you want more files or have an idea.
