Hello, I am trying the setup a heatexchanger to reject condenser heat from a chiller to the districtcooling loop via a HeatExchanger:FluidToFluid Object. I tried to follow some details from "PlateHeatExchanger.idf file replacing the Ground loop with a District Cooling object. However I Get a error that the LOOP Demand side are not on the demand side of a plant loop and That the Heatexchanger was not found in any plant loop even though it is defined in the plantEquipmentList.

Is it possible to have such arrangement in Energyplus 8.1, thanks

Yes, this arrangement is possible. It sounds like the heat exchanger is not connected quite right. I would suggest studying the example file called PlantLoopChainCooling.idf.
