Hello.

I am studying daylighting technology to reduce lighting energy. While surveying, I found that EnergyPlus can model a light shelf using shading surface.

So, this is my question.

Is it possible to control the angle of shading surface or light shelf?

I made edd file from Example/DaylightingDeviceShelf.idf But there were no variables related to surface angle.

I want to know how to control the angle of surfaces in Energyplus. If you have any idea or knowledge, please let me know.

Thank you.

The geometry of the shading surface you create is directly reflected in the simulation. You cannot change the angle of the shading surface after you create the geometry. The rotation axis of the shading surface is not defined. If you want to change the angle of the shading surface, please revise the geometry of the shading surface directly.
