The heat transfer modeling is one-dimensional so you would need to input the slab surface as a simple slab that approximates the more complex structure. I would suggest doing an area weighted average of the concrete thicknesses and ignore any air pockets.

If you want to model the flow of air through the core, you can use ZoneHVAC:VentilatedSlab.
