Hello,

(sorry in advance for the English)

So I have the following scheme,

1) Boiler----Pump1-----Plate Heat Exchanger----Boiler 2) Plate Heat Exchanger-------Pump2------Water Tank--------Plate Heat Exchanger 3) Water Tank------3 way Valve-----Showers------Pump3------Water Tank

I am new in the modeling, can anyone please guide me.

Do I have to create 3 water plant loop, and go from there?

I´m using Openstudio 1.7.5 and Energyplus 8.3

Thanks for the help

Hello,

First of all, thank you so much for the quick answer.

I just have to make the same question, because I have made a mistake in the drawing.

The water that leaves the Water Tank Storage (WTS), that is not used in shower does not return to the WTS, but actually pre-heat the fresh water that enter in the 3-way valve.

Thanks,

Take a look at this question. It's not an exact match to your configuration but is close. Note that the HeatExchangerFluidToFluid is added to the demand side of the HHW loop from the Library (objects not in the model but available to it) and the same HX is added to the supply side of the SHW loop from the My Model tab (objects in the model). You will also need to define a WaterUseEquipment definition in the Loads tab and link it to the one in the Service Hot Water loop.
