I have created and simulated an energy model for an office project using eQUEST. Now, I am working on documenting some LEED MEP credits. One credit is asking to provide hourly electric demand (W). I was trying to get this info by creating hourly reports in my model, but I couldn’t see anything that shows hourly demand. I also looked at the simulation output reports but I only see monthly demand (PS-E report). I can create hourly reports to generate hourly energy use, but I am unable to generate hourly electric demand. Can you please help me find a way to get the hourly electric demand (W) from equest?

Oumina,

You can get the eQuest hourly electricity consumption from the hourly results. You can find it in the "Total End Use Energy" column of the electric meter (EM1 if you've kept the default nomenclature). eQuest creates this report by default. The .sim file has an "Hourly Report(s)" section, but I find it easier to print the hourly reports to a .csv file by clicking the "Hourly Results" button in the top right corner of the .sim file viewer.

Note that if your project has more than one electric meter, you'll have to create an hourly report for each meter and then add them together on an hourly basis.
