Why does Misc Equip change when modeling loop process loads in eQuest?

I found in the "Detailed Simulation Reports Summary.pdf" help file, the process load is tracked under "misc. equip" end use, but cannot seem to figure out why misc equip end-use changes when modeling a chilled water loop process load.

When I model any changes to the plant itself (as LWT reset or waterside econ, etc.) or even changes to downstream equipment loads effecting the chilled water loop energy use, this process load seems use more/less energy.

I've confirmed through hourly reporting that the process load itself does not change between each model, so is there some mechanism by which the eQuest is mistakenly tracking savings under the "misc equip" end-use when it should show up in "cooling" or heat rejection" categories?

Note that I've painstakingly made sure this is not an inadvertent change in plug loads or internal loads (LS-K reports, hourly meters, etc.). It's merely the presence of the process load on the chilled water loop.

Please add version (2.2, 2.3, 2.2R) and report (BEPS, meters, etc.) and your method of specifying the loop load. Note that loop loads become loop flow based on loop temperature (which is impacted by the process required temperature as a minimum) and the flow impacts loop losses and pumping energy/heat gains. Generally, for end use reports (BEPS, meters) electric consumption of primary equipment (chillers, etc.) that responds to the loop load (at a given timestep temp/flow) is pro-rated into the end use category by the ratio of source loads demanding the primary flow.
