EnergyPro Geometry Import

asked 2 years ago

What would be the best way to import geometry (space information) into EnergyPro? So far I've done it by exporting a gbXML file from IES, but this results in many issues: missing surfaces, surfaces counted twice, WWR higher than 100%, doors getting assigned wall constructions, floor surfaces not matching room surfaces, missing adjacencies, etc.

Very late to respond, but have you resolved your issues with using IES?

We have used EDSL-TAS with success in generating gbXML models which can be cleanly imported into other software. Every 3d drawing tool which exports tends to have slightly different structures in how spaces or zones are defined.
