I want to define an airgap in my material database in ESP-r. I have the thickness and thermal resistance. But I don't know how I can add the thermal resistance in ESP-r. Can you please help me with this?

Hi there,

when editing the materials database, in the 'categories' you find "GAPS". This refers to air layers. When defining such a material, choose "gap layer" for "type", then enter the desired resistances "wall", "flr/ceil" and "other". That should do it.

Best, Achim
