Receive an error message "Age must be less than building age", even when entering an equipment lifetime less than the building age. I do not receive this error for other appliances or space conditioning equipment. See screenshot attached. C:\fakepath\SharedScreenshot.jpg

@muhl What is the age of the home (as listed on the geometry input screen) for your project?

I set the age of the home as 2 years, and then wanted to make the system 1 yr. It's almost a new build that we are evaluating.

I'm not sure I understand the issue. The GSHP cannot be 10 years old if the building is only 2 years old; you need to enter a value of 2 (or less) for the GSHP age.

The image for the GSHP shows the default age. I did not select the 10 year age for the equipment. Instead, I'm trying to select something less than 2 years. In my case, I'm trying to select 1 year.

Are you not able to type in 1 year? Sorry, I'm not understanding what the issue is.

Correct, I cannot enter/type "1" for the age of equipment. I receive the error message. I am not sure whether the error message is triggered because of the default equipment ages and/or why it only occurs with GSHP equipment. You can probably repeat the issue if you open a new retrofit model, set the age of building to "2", and go to GSHP to switch the age of equipment to 1. Let me know if you need the specific model.
