Hello,

I have tried to download Open Studio on my MacBook (Apple M1 processor) through Parallel Desktop and I get an error message saying "Measure Manager has crashed, attempting to restart - unexpected ucrtbase.dll". My question is if OpenStudio is compatible on Windows ARM?

Thank you!

I don't have an answer for you on this, but just out of interest, why run the application under Parallel instead of native for M1 mac?

Because Open Studio is not supported on Mac.

Also curious, does the EnergyPlus/OpenStudio OS version not run on the M1 Mac? Thanks!

Nope does not work! Do you know how to get in contact with the OpenStudio support? I could not find any phone number

@doris and @malin. OpenStuido (SDK and Application) both support Mac (both intel and M1 but for SDK there are two different installers).

Thank you for confirming, David. From my understanding DesignViewer does not work on Mac and the 'export variable to csv' measure is no longer available, how do you view hourly outputs for variables (not meter and schedules) if you run OpenStudio on a Mac?

OK thank you! So it should be supported by Windows ARM?

@malin you can use the 1.0 installer of DView here to view hourly outputs on mac. @doris, I do not think Windows Arm has been tested or is supported.
