I'm trying to render a thermal zone that is a box with a corner cut out of it. But when I select it, it tries to pick up the entire box. How can I get the selector tool to recognize the geometry that I drew in Sketchup. I seemed to work OK on the other non-regular shapes in the model.

Thanks,

Not sure if you are using OpenStudio or different tool, but either way, in SketchUp when you select a group it typically draws a rectangular bounding box, so that is the rectangle you are seeing when you select it. To select or alter specific surfaces in that group double click and you will enter into that group. Depending on your settings, when you enter a group the rest of the model may dim or disappear until you exit the group. You can exit with the "esc" key or clicking someone in the background of the model.
