Hey,

I'm trying to get a heating in my building, so that the inside temperature never drops below 20°C. When I work on the hvac step in the OpenStudio menu and include a new hvac-sytsem for example packages rooftop heat pump and drop the themal zones into that scheme, the simulation fails. What do i have to change, to get the simulation started using the heating. All the other questions and tutorials i've found, say to just turn on the fan, in the themal zone step in OpenStudio. But my working surface looks diffrent to the ones described and I cant find the simple option to turn on a fan.

Thanks a lot for the help, Cheyenne

Have you added thermostats to the thermal zones? Also suggest updating to 1.7.0.

Also, what is the error saying exactly? Look in the eplusout.err file and read the last severe error.

Hey, thanks for the answers. No, I didnt add a thermostat to the thermals zones, where can I do that?

The eplusout.err file says:

Look at the eplusout.err file to see what the errors are. See this page for instructions on how to view that file.
