Cooling coil availability increases boiler energy consumption?

Hello E+ community.

I am modelling a CAV system in E+ and realized that room temperatures in cooling season are way too low. When I change the upper temperature limit of SetpointManager:MultiZone:Cooling:Average from 18 to 20, the interior temperatures get much better but this time, boiler natural gas consumption increases quite a lot! (from around 270 kWh to 330 kWh). I already have AvailabilityManager objects at my PlantLoops, AirLoop object and PlantLoopOperationSchemes so that the cooling system doesn't activate in winter and vice versa. On top of this, when I add the same (appropriate) Availability schedule to my heating coil the results almost don't change, and when I add one for the cooling coil the natural gas consumption increases from 330 kWh to 520 kWh!! (this is not a typo! when I limit cooling coil to heating season, natural gas consumption in the winter increases!!)

Edit: I think knowing what happens if the cooling coil does or doesn't have an availability schedule while the plant loop already has one; would help to diagnose this issue further??

I tried changing many different inputs and still don't know why this is happening. Any help is appreaciated and thanks in advance.
