Sensitivity Analysis result not available with a larger sample size

asked 2 years ago

Hello everyone, I was trying to run a SA with Saltelli sampling with n=1000. Unfortunately, at the end of the simulations, no result was available while I had no problem with a reduced sample size. Does anyone has an idea about what mistake I might have made ? Many thanks in advance, Best regards

Hi Julgam,

I am now doing SA with jEPlus+EA. However, every time I want to use the Saltelli method, the jEPlus+EA will automatically change the sampling method to MORRIS?

Did this problem happen to you? And if so, May I know how did you manage to keep using the Saltelli method?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Julgam,

Are you using jEPlus+EA?

I've been simulated this days and I've had a similar problem (I think).

If you get results for the first samples and suddenly keep simulating but no data appears it may be because you haven't storage memory left.

These types of simulations take up a lot of space.

Hi, I was very careful about the available space. All my runs are terminated with still an available space consequent. When I reach ENSIMS Web tool, I only have linear regression model results but not the sensitivity metrics I want (Sobol). Regards

Have you configured: "algorithm settings" to do the sensitivity analysis?

Yes, of course !

If you're sure you have defined the output variables correctly in jEplus I can't help you.

I'm still learning how to use the program. Sorry :)
