Hello,

I was wondering how to add roof PV for a portion of the building roof. I have used the Component & Measure feature under "onsite power generation" which adds PV for the whole roof in a building. However, this is not what I want.

If there are any links to instructional documents or videos I can follow would be great.

Thanks in advance.

i believe that adds Simple PV objects. One of the inputs is what fraction of the surface is covered with PV. Another option is the Rooftop PV measure that creates shading surfaces just above roof surfaces and lets you set the fraction of surface covered withPV.

Here is a youtube video that describes how to model panels with a specific geometry and orientation: https://youtu.be/LAqn8bVE1Eo
