How do I remove inherited people, lighting, equipment, etc. definitions? Is there a way to do this other than changing the actual multiplier in the space types, loads?

If they are inherited, it is from a space type. Just un-associate the space type from the space. Or, if you happen to have a building default space type, like we often do in our templates. For example "Classroom" for a school (that way any space not otherwise specified, just becomes a classroom). To make just one space empty create a new empty space type and assign it to your space. We used to have an "Empty Space" space type in the templates, but I'm not sure if it is still there.

You can also overwrite the inherited (green text) objects with one from the library by simply dropping it in at the space level.
