Sizing of Solar thermal collector

Hi everyone,

I am trying to understand how I can properly size the area of solar thermal collector based on Domestic Hot Water requirement. I have modelled a solar-assisted DHW with a backup electric boiler for this purpose in DesignBuilder (v6).

I currently have an arbitrary area for my collector that I want to optimize based on consumption needs. Which are the outputs I should be looking for in EnergyPlus detailed report?

Any suggestion is welcome.
