Need help with the err. document of OSM model creat in SketchUp plugin
Hi, Thanks in advance for any advise.
I have run a simple model with geomotry created by sketchup, and I add some simple properties to it,such as weather conditiong, construction set.
And then I ran this model, it seems to be succeed, but failed in the last step.
Like the following picture.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fSGW...
You can check all my documents here.

Some of you guys have ran my IDF file, and found no severe errors.@Jim Dirkes
First, I'd like to say it's so kind of you to try your best to help me solve the problem.
But if you guys look into the results of Energyplus carefully, you can find it really wierd.
First, there isn't any ''Building Area'' . https://drive.google.com/file/d/10XxA...
Second, the Envolope part isn't identified by openstutio(or energyplus) too.
As a matter of fact, also no ''Site and Source Energy'' in the model too.
Also, if you ran the osm file which is equal to the IDF file(osm file is converted into IDF file to achieve the goal of building energy simulation).
you may find the reports of Energyplus and Openstutio conflicts. (Don't forget to drag the ''OpenStutio Results'' from the library)
Run the osm file after add the ''OpenStutio Results''.
And it shows that ''Envolope Summary'' fails too(just like what the Energyplus Report said)
Here is the results.

OpenStutio Results: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XaXe...
Thanks.
@Southeast are you using EnergyPlus directly (simulating IDF) or an EnergyPlus interface (OpenStudio, etc.)? Please mention it in your question's title and/or post, as well as add a tag so that others can provide better help.
Thank you, Aaron.@Aaron Boranian As for your question, I'm using an sketchup openstutio plug-in first, after I finish my geometry model I directly lauched openstutio in SketchUp. In other words, I created an OSM model in SketchUp, and open it using Openstutio. And thanks for your suggestion about adding more tags, I really want to but dont know how. When I successfully add one, how can I seperate it from the other?
A simulation will not normally fail with only "Warning". Is there a "Severe" which follows these? If so, please indicate what that line says. You may also want to attach your IDF
Thanks for your suggestion, Jim.@Jim Dirkes But there isn't any severe problem in my err document. And could you please show me how to ''attach IDF or other useful documents''.(I'm new in Unmet hours) Before that, you can browse the ''Final Error Summary'' of the err document in my next comment.
The following error categories occurred. Consider correcting or noting. Nominally Unused Constructions The nominally unused constructions warning is provided to alert you to potential conditions that can cause extra time during simulation. Each construction is calculated by the algorithm indicated in the HeatBalanceAlgorithm object. You may remove the constructions indicated (when you use the DisplayExtraWarnings option). (To be continued……)
*** EnergyPlus Warmup Error Summary. During Warmup: 0 Warning; 0 Severe Errors. *** EnergyPlus Sizing Error Summary. During Sizing: 0 Warning; 0 Severe Errors. *** EnergyPlus Completed Successfully-- 225 Warning; 0 Severe Errors; Elapsed Time=00hr 00min 0.83sec
@Southeast your image didn't attach correctly, you should have enough karma points so please try again. Also, you can use Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. to store your model input or output files that you want to share, then provide a link to that in your Unmet Hours post. Finally, your last .err file message says that the simulation completed successfully -- what is the "last step" where it is failing?
@Aaron Boranian I have edited my post, and shared my all my files by Google Drive. Thank you to let me know such a convient way. @Jim Dirkes Jim, I have attached my OSM file in my post. Maybe you can have a look at it.
If you're able to export the EnergyPlus "Input Data File" ( file suffix .IDF), that will be helpful for me. I don't use OSM. so am not as able to read that file....
@Jim Dirkes Here is the IDF file. It is concluded in the ''run'' folder. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eTq_...
