Hello, I want to know if it is possible to consider variable heating and cooling setpoints in DesignBuilder. I mean I want to have different heating/cooling setpoints for different hours of a day. If it is possible, how can I do that?

@Elin are these variable heating and cooling setpoints for zone thermostats or for supply air/water delivered to HVAC equipment?

Hi Elin, I'm assuming you mean the zone heating/cooling setpoints in the Activity tab. On that basis I think there are two options...if using Detailed HVC you can use the "Detailed HVAC data" option in Model options which enables you to set multiple set points for different times (see Program Help item here: http://designbuilder.co.uk/helpv7.0/#...). If using either Simple or Detailed HVAC you could use our scripting tools to override the set point temperature in individual or all zones at relevant times in your simulation.
