Hello,

I'm trying to understand whether is possible or not to change an already defined Air Flow Rate meanwhile the simulation is running in accordance with either a schedule or a predefined parameter.

Here is an example.

I am working on a building served by VRF units, all of which can work in accordance with 3 different Air Flow modes: Low, Medium, and High (approximated by using the Fan:SystemModel object). Here is my question:

Is there a way to change the air flow meanwhile the simulation is running? e.g. Making the current mode switching from high to medium in accordance to a schedule, a look-up table or a predefined condition, thus having complete control over the current fan-mode? Could the Python EMS be a solution? If so, any hints on how to implement this?

Many thanks for any help you can provide to me :-)

@Angelo Martucci are you asking about Python EMS because you are planning on using EnergyPlus for the building simulation? If so, please add the energyplus tag so that others can provide better help.

Thanks for letting me notice this. I've updated my post as you suggested.
