Hello,

I'm working on the small-office model from PNNL. The weather file is for Texas in August which is extremely warm. When I set the setpoint on 25, Zone mean air temperature is always on 25. (see the attached photos; the first plot shows the setpoint, indoor temperature, and outdoor temperature. The second plot shows the energy consumption of the building). I expected to not see a straight line for indoor temperature and see a little bit of fluctuation below 25. Is this correct? Is it because of the high value of outdoor temperature? Can anyone describe how EnergyPlus calculate and control based on setpoint?

Thanks!
