Hi everyone,

I am new to both Radiance and mac and I couldn’t find any comprehensive instructions (up to date and with working links) on how to install Radiance on macOS. I would appreciate any help.

You start from www.radiance-online.org, click on the Download/Install link near the top, then the "Radiance Installers" entry in the table. This takes you to the link: https://github.com/LBNL-ETA/Radiance/... which you can also just go to directly.

I generally recommend using the latest HEAD release, which will be at the top. Today, it is labeled, "Radiance 5.4a (2021-09-10)" but it gets updated pretty often. Clicking on that link opens a window with several entries, including two versions of the OSX installer. You probably want the *.pkg one.

If you have any trouble from there, let me know. It helps to preinstall X11/XQuartz from https://www.xquartz.org/ and the developer tools (compilers, etc.)
