Hi all, I just adopted an example case (RadLoHydrHeatCoolAuto.idf) to my geometry. I use exactly the same components. I was wondering why the district hot water temperature is increasing whereas the cooling temperature stays constant. Where can I set that the district hot water has a constant temperature over the whole time? The values reach up to 320°C. I already played around with Setpoints, Setpoint Managers, AvailabilityManager:HighTemperatureTurnOff and PlantLoop min. and max. temperature. Still, the hot water district temperature is doing something not logical to me.

Typically this kind of issue are themal losses to the fluid from the circulating pump running continuously even if there is not heating demand

Thank you for your comment. I checked that and the pump is only on when there is really a demand. I see that in the electricity and mass flow rate through the pump. But interestingly enough I see a dependency, when the pump is on the temperature of the hot water loop is increasing. At those times when the pump is off the temperature is slighty decreasing. Weird enough that the cold water loop temperature stays all the time constant although it is the same setup. Can I somewhere disable that the pump dissipates heat to the hot water?

I just set the pump electricity to 0 W. Then the hot water is not heating up any more. This suits for my purposes now.
