Simulation Failed from the Right Beginning
This is all the messages I got from the Run Simulation interface and the run.txt file, moreover the eplusout.err is empty, which is the most strange.
What are the general reasons for simulation failed at this stage?
That is strange, wonder if the EnergyPlus process crashed. Is there anything unique in the model or has it been hand edited. It might be nice to try to export to IDF file from the OpenStudio Application and try to run it directly in EnergyPlus to see if you see the same behavior. If it fails to export to an IDF or crashes then the issue would be with forward translation, but I think the error would look different than what you have shown.
Hi @david-goldwasser, I am getting the exact same problem. I didn't experience any problems exporting it to .idf. Do you know what this could be?
@Alejandro Lopez If you take that exported IDF file and run EnergyPlus using EPLaunch, does that crash EnergyPlus, or does it complete?
