BCL measure manual install without key - help needed [closed]

Hi, I don't have an access key to the BCL, and they are currently not sending confirmation emails to new accounts. I've been told this is because they are moving their server to GitHub and this will be done by July. Well, my project deadline is the 30th of June and BCL have not responded to any help request emails.

Does anyone know how to install measures and components without a key? I can drop them in the measures folder but they do not show up in OS. Is there an easy way to convert them to user measures so I can use them? I've tried dropping theri contents in new user measures, attempting to alter class, but I don't really know what I'm doing with code so they fail. I understand it's a file-path issue. Anyone able to help?

Alternately, if someone with a key is able to duplicate some BCL measures for me so they could be used in my copy of OS, that would be great. Obviously I'd prefer to have my own key but I can't count on them getting back to me before I run out of time. Thanks.

@ARYardley does the answer in this post answer your question? It looks like you can enter your own account key.

You know, you've made my day. That worked! Thank you very much. You've just saved me many, many hours' work!

No idea why that didn't show up in my searches, but I was getting desperate. I must've used bad search terms

Also I'm too new for the forum to accept me answering this question to close the thread. If you'd care to do the honours?

Anyone reading this in future and finding a dead link: the keys are deprecated. Any 32-cahracter string will work as a key, so you can just paste XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX into the box and it will accept it.

@ARYardley great! I'm glad that you found a solution. Technically, since the other post had someone ask the same question and someone else provided an answer that worked for you there, I'll need to close your post here -- sorry. I found that post searching for "bcl account", I would recommend using similar search terms in the future since there are almost 9,500 posts on Unmet Hours to date. There is a VERY good chance somebody has already asked the same question you have, or at least something very close.
