how to add VAV box to VRF with DOAS system
Hi I am using openstudio for energy modeling and run a measure called VRF with DOAS system, I want to duct the VRF to VAV box I also tried to create a new loop using packaged rooftop HP with VAV template and create a separate VRF system to model the same system
how can I add vav box to the VRF with DOAS system measure or how can I duct individual VRF controller to packaged rooftop HP with VAV template? What is the difference between those two model ? Thank you

Brianna, can you describe the system configuration based on the design intention of systems serving other systems? Some designers do use a VAV box upstream of their VRF fan coils as a means to modulate just the ventilation air to a space. The VRF fan coil still maintains the functionality of mixing the ventilation air with room return air, and the VAV box is commonly controlled to space CO2 or occupancy. In this case, I would recommend modeling them as separate systems, with VAV boxes connected to the DOAS and a fully separate VRF system.
