Hello,

I need to model and integrate into my E+ model a handful of custom elements/loads unique to my building type that are not offered in any libraries that I can find. (These include outdoor CO2 trends, CO2 supplement system, vegetation model, LED lighting, extra evaporation, etc. Some will passively respond to BEM/climate conditions, and some will need to be controllable)

Can this be done? Where should I look to understand how to do this? I am new to E+, but 'aware' of EMS and BCVTB

Thanks!

If you can input any of these custom elements to your building model using either a Schedule, an EMS actuator or an ERL variable, then you should be able to use the BCVTB or the EnergyPlusToFMU to accomplish that.

Hi there, some years later, I am facing the same issue. However, putting the Schedule:File in the same folder as the .idf when generating the FMU (via EnergyPlusToFMU) does not lead to an addition of the Schedule:File file to the resources. Was there any additional "trick"? Thanks. Best, Achim
