Trnsys simulation - How do you evaluate thermal load estimation?

Hi, I need help with the Trnsys software, I am a beginner. I need to simulate a building-plant system, I followed the manual instructions and created the 3D with Sketchup, then I imported the model into Simulation and with TRNBuild I entered all the characteristics on the opaque and glazed components. How do I calculate the heating and cooling load of the building? How do I define the operating periods for winter and summer season; people's occupancy; etc? Thank you to those who can help me!

To get heating and cooling loads you need to define heating and cooling types for your zones. Internal gains can be scheduled and applied to the zones using gain types. I recommend that you work through the building tutorials in the Tutorials manual of the TRNSYS 18 Documentation set. The tutorials cover most of these concepts.

Hi Tim, thanks for your advice. Regarding the manual you are talking about, are you referring to Volume 5 'Multizone Building modeling with Type56 and TRNBuild'?

No, the Tutorials volume in the TRNSYS18 documentation set.
