BCL account registration

Hi,

I live in Finland. I started last weekend to use Openstudio application version 2.9.1 and Sketchup Make 2017. I have tried to create an account on BCL three times with three different emails. Each time I filled in the info on the registration page, there was a message telling that it was successful and an email has been sent to me for further instruction. But none arrived (I checked all spam boxes).

Without the complete registration and account, I can't get the key to set up the connection from Openstudio to BCL.

Is there anyone from Europe with the same problem recently? Or is it some issues from BCL system?

Hello, I have the same problem as nhung114, I can't find the email with the instructions. But if I would like to use the same email address to register again, it says it is already registered. So I tried the reset password link, but not even that arrived to my inbox, even though that also displayed "Further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address". Could you please check my account too? Thanks!

I'm not sure why that happened, I see your account there and will send you a temporary password from my email. It will prompt you to change the password the first time you login.

Update: BCL is moving way from having a login but in the mean time if you can't get a key, please follow these instructions for the OpenStudio Application, or Parametric Analysis Tool (PAT) where it ask for the BCL key please use this :XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It doesn't matter what the characters in the key are, it just matters that there are the number (32 chars) I have shown. We don't actually check the key anymore but it still needs something it thinks can be a key.

Hi, I have the same problem.. I tried with three different mails and also sent an email to "need help?" in the BCL site but nothing happened. Could you help me with this issue?

Unfortunatly the key provided here doesn't work any updates on how to solve this without needing to update to more recent OS versions?

@m,.habib, confirm that you have the right number of characters and no leading or trailing spaces. If that doesn't work try restarting the computer, there could be some orphaned processes that are creating problems.
