Hi. I am doing the simulation for LEED ID + C v.4 certification for an office building. The air conditioning system of my project is of the VRF type. Centrifugal fans will be installed for external air supply. My question is how to represent these fans in Openstudio, to consider this external air intake?

Thank you!

Have you looked at the VRF with DOAS measure in BCL? Working with VRF also typically requires a separate air loop that handles outside air only (DOAS). That loop typically has cooling and heating coils in addition to a fan. Providing outside air typically requires heating and cooling, but I suppose if you must, you could just keep the fan and delete the coils. In general, I think if you search this forum for VRF, you‘ll find what you need.

Thanks for the answer! I modeled it as you said, created the airloop with Outdoor Air Systems and left only the Ventilation Fan, but I was in doubt if this was correct.
